WHITE STAR SUPER MAIZE MEAL (500 ml) |

butter |
50 ml |
wholegrain mustard |
| Toppings |
| - whole sweet piquanté peppers and thinly sliced biltong |
- smoked Snoek and fresh rocket leaves |
| - sun-dried tomatoes and Brie |
| - salami, blanched asparagus spears and a dollop of mayonnaise |
Method
- Bring the water and salt to the boil in a heavy based saucepan. Stir in the White Star Super Maize Meal until mixture is smooth, then cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Mix the butter and mustard together and mix into the maize porridge.
- Pour the porridge into a greased baking tray of 25 x 35 cm. Spread evenly with a spatula and allow to cool completely.
- Cut the porridge into 6 x 7 cm rectangles and top the slices with the topping ingredients.
